FireGlance Privacy Policy
Short version: FireGlance collects nothing. No analytics, no accounts, no tracking, no third-party SDKs, and no server of ours. Your phone talks directly to your own firewall. Its App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.
What data FireGlance handles
Firewall connection settings (name, address, port, and your choice of trusted certificate fingerprint) are stored on your device in app storage. API keys and passwords are stored on your device in the iOS Keychain; they are sent only to the firewall address you configured, and nowhere else. Firewall status data (system metrics, interface addresses, DHCP leases, firewall log entries) is fetched from your firewall, displayed on screen, and held only in memory. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
None of this data ever reaches Forgehaven Labs. We have no servers that receive app data, and we could not read your data if we wanted to.
What FireGlance does not do
No analytics or telemetry of any kind. No advertising, no ad identifiers, no tracking across apps or websites. No accounts or sign-in. No third-party SDKs. No selling or sharing of data; there is no data to sell.
Purchases
The optional one-time FireGlance Pro unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no personal information about you from a purchase. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's own privacy policy.
Data deletion
Deleting the app deletes everything: connection settings, pinned certificate fingerprints, and Keychain entries all live only on your device. You can also remove any saved firewall (including its Keychain secret) inside the app at Settings > Firewalls.
Children
FireGlance is a network-administration utility, is rated 4+, and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If a future version ever changes what data the app handles (for example, optional push-alert infrastructure), this policy will be updated before that version ships, with the change noted here.
