GrowGlance Privacy Policy
Short version: GrowGlance collects nothing. It has no backend we operate, no account of its own, and no analytics. It talks only to AC Infinity's cloud service, the same one your controller and the official app already use. Its App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.
What we collect
Nothing. GrowGlance has no server operated by us and no accounts of our own. We do not collect, transmit, store, or have access to any personal data, usage data, or diagnostics. Nothing you do in GrowGlance is visible to us.
Your AC Infinity credentials
Your AC Infinity password is sent only to AC Infinity's own servers to sign you in, never to us or anyone else, and it is not stored on your device. The resulting sign-in session (a token and your account email) is kept in the iOS Keychain, Apple's encrypted credential store. Signing out erases it.
Data that stays on your device
Your readings and history (temperature, humidity, VPD) stay on your phone; history charts are computed and stored on-device only. Your preferences (units, polling interval, VPD presets, alert rules) are stored on-device only. Notifications are generated locally on your phone; there is no push server. GrowGlance contains no third-party SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and no crash-reporting or analytics services.
Third-party service: AC Infinity
To show live data, GrowGlance signs in to the AC Infinity cloud (acinfinityserver.com) with the account you created with AC Infinity. Your relationship with that service is governed by AC Infinity's own privacy policy. GrowGlance is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by AC Infinity Inc.
Purchases
The one-time GrowGlance Pro purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive only Apple's standard anonymized sales reports, never your identity or payment details.
Children
GrowGlance does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. It collects nothing from anyone.
Changes
If a future version of GrowGlance ever changes any of the above, this policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated before that version ships.
