The at-a-glance layer
That's the question, and the answer is one number: VPD. Instead of reading temperature and humidity off the official app and doing the math in your head, GrowGlance computes VPD on-device and colors it against the target band for your growth stage. Green means go back to sleep.
What it does
Computed on-device from temperature, humidity, and your leaf offset, then color-coded against the band for your stage: propagation, veg, or flower.
One card per controller with temp and humidity tiles and the state of every port: fans, lights, mode, and speed. Poll every 10, 15, or 30 seconds.
High and low bands per metric, plus a "controller went dark" rule. Edge-triggered: one clean ping per breach, re-armed on recovery. No spam.
Session charts for temperature, humidity, and VPD, recorded on-device while the app is open. Never on anyone's servers.
Tent vitals without opening the app: the VPD gauge on the small widget, the full vitals row on the medium.
When the cloud stops returning fresh readings, a staleness banner says so. GrowGlance never dresses up old numbers as live.

No. GrowGlance is an independent app by Forgehaven Labs and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by AC Infinity Inc. It signs in to the same cloud service your controller already uses.
Your AC Infinity password is sent only to AC Infinity's own servers to sign you in, exactly like the official app, and is never stored. Your sign-in session lives in the iOS Keychain. We run no servers, and the app contains no analytics or tracking of any kind.

Vapor pressure deficit: the combined "dryness pressure" your canopy feels, in kilopascals. It's the single best number for dialing in transpiration. GrowGlance computes it from temperature, humidity, and your leaf offset, and colors it against the target band for your growth stage.
