FeederRank Privacy Policy
Short version: we do not collect, store, sell, or share any data about you. There is no account, no login, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no Forgehaven Labs server behind the app. Its App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.
What the app stores, and where
Everything FeederRank saves lives on your device only: the receiver UUID(s) you paste in and the labels you give them, which aggregators you have enabled and your alert and demo settings, and the rolling stats history used to draw the charts. Deleting the app deletes all of it. None of it is transmitted to us; we could not read it if we wanted to, because we run no backend.
Network requests the app makes for you
To show your feeder's statistics, FeederRank calls the public, no-login APIs of the aggregators you enable (airplanes.live, adsb.fi, and adsb.lol), sending only what those lookups need: your receiver UUID, which is the same public identifier your feed client already sends them. adsb.lol's lookup is based on your network address and receives no UUID. These requests go directly from your phone to each aggregator, governed by that aggregator's own privacy policy. FeederRank is not affiliated with these services.
If you enable the local receiver panel, the app also reads stats from your own receiver software (readsb/tar1090) over your home network. That traffic never leaves your LAN.
Purchases
The optional one-time Pro unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details and no identity information from your purchase.
Notifications
Feeder-offline alerts are local notifications generated on your device. There is no push-notification service.
Children
FeederRank does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If a future version ever changes any of the above (for example, by adding an aggregator that requires an account token), this policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated first, and the change will be called out in the release notes.
